A beautiful new book with paintings by Italian artist Paolo Ventura. Ventura stranded in the medieval town of Anghiari without his camera during the Corona crisis. He was not allowed to leave the apartment – that’s how he started painting.
“Last year I put away acrylic paints and large sheets of packing paper in my studio in Anghiari. When I started quarantine they became like bread and cheese in the cellar of a mouse. They saved me, gave meaning and strength to days that were all the same, all different.”
