Young boys in Shanghai act as ‘host boys’, a kind of emo-gigolo, to wealthy Chinese woman who are in search of a deep connection, even if it is artificial and expansively paid for.. The rules are: it must happen at Club Zeus (a name not accidentally chosen considering the many transformations Zeus made to seduce and conquer). Yet the ‘host boys’ lose control of their own life. They cannot keep fake and truth from each other and start distrusting life.
